Harvey C. Speed Graveside services for Harvey C. Speed will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 1:00 p. m. at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton Mississippi with Reverend Sephus Garrett officiating and Robert Barham Family Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Speed, 63 of Meridian died Friday April 12, at Rush Hospital. Mr. Speed was a Life Time member of VFW Post 79, where he served as Post Commander and District 4 Commander. He was also a member of VFW Riders and lifetime member of DAV Chapter 56 and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Billie Speed; sons, James Earl Ferguson, wife Melissa, and Junior Ferguson; daughter, Mary Jean Ferguson; step daughter, Teresa Smith and also nine grandchildren.
