Hazel Therrell Oakes Graveside services for Hazel Therrell Oakes will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, Alabama, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Oakes, 93, of Meridian died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Bedford Care Center. Survivors include her children Mary Oakes Anderson and husband Glenn of Phenix City, Alabama, Billie Oakes Carroll and husband Billy Carroll of Meridian; Grandchildren Leisa Bedingfield, Glenn Anderson, Jr., Ashley Carroll Vaughan and Tiffany Carroll McBryde and husband Mack; Great grandchildren William Wainwright, Thomas Wainwright, Megan McBryde and sister Carmen Miller husband Frank of Chicago, Illinois.
