Heather Lauren Harper Services for Heather Lauren Harper will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Tim Adams officiating. Burial will be in Energy Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Ms. Harper, 22, of Meridian, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. Ms. Harper was a 2006 graduate of Southeast High School and was employed with J. C. Penney Hair Salon for the past three years. She was a member of Energy Church but had been attending Russell Baptist Church for the last year. Survivors include her son Cooper Huntley Tanner; her fiancé Trey Tanner of Meridian; parents Angie and Tommy Harper of Meridian, a brother Tyler Harper of Meridian, a sister Cortney Harper of Meridian; grandmother Opal Harper of Meridian; grandfather Lavell Harper of Meridian and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Claudia and Charles Dorman and her aunt Janet Dow. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Cooper Huntley Tanner Trust Fund at Regions Bank. Pallbearers will be Alan Hagwood, Anthony Rawson, Lance Irby, Caleb Irby, Clay Boutwell, and Randy Rawson. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at robertbarhamffh.com.
