Helen Bernice "Bb" Bunyard

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Bernice “BB” Bunyard will begin at 11:30am, Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Harper and Rev. Joe Anderson Officiating. Interment will follow at Stinson Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Bunyard, age 93, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Bernice was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church and then Carmel Baptist Church. She was a long time employee of the former Riley Hospital. Mrs. Bernice enjoyed the music as well as being a member of the TISBA Association and met many friends there. She loved to crochet and travel; she never met a stranger and was always willing to visit.

Survivors include her son Robert Bunyard; Grandchildren, Scott Bunyard (Christy), Crystal Bunyard; Great grandchildren, Kortney Pierce (Fiancé’ Houston Dearing), Raven Bunyard, Christian Bunyard, Landon Rigdon, Braxtyn Rigdon and Nolan Rigdon. Great-Great Grandchildren, Avery Pierce, Charlotte Dearing and Keaton Hodgins; daughter in law (considered the daughter she never had), Cindy McKenzie (Lamar) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester E. Bunyard; Brother, Walter Miller and Parents, Jese and Pursia Miller.

Pallbearers will be Scott Bunyard, Houston Dearing, Christian Bunyard, Lamar McKenzie, Nick Montone, Michael McKenzie, and Landon Rigdon.
