Helen Marie Compton Graveside services for Helen Marie Compton will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Snell, MS with Reverend Richard Davis officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Compton, age 73, of Destin, Florida, formerly of Meridian, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 in Destin. Prior to living in Destin, she attended Westwood Baptist Church in Meridian. Survivors include her daughter, Roxanne Scheid and husband, Michael, of Crestview, FL; son, Ben Compton and wife, Laurie, of Atlanta, GA; son, Clint Compton and wife, Amber, of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Rebecca Scheid, Jack and Jonah Compton, and Truett and Tate Compton; sister, Dot Fuller of Meridian; brother, Billy Reynolds of Gulfport, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Ruth Reynolds. She was always involved in the communities in which she lived and was a loyal friend. She "wore many hats" in her lifetime daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter, basketball athlete, wife, seamstress, mother, aunt, volunteer for church, school and community, baseball scorekeeper, gardener, sales woman, loving grandmother, and many more.
