Services for Helen Eileen Luther Daniels will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Jeff Hancock, Dan Petersen and Jon Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Hamrick Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Daniels, 89, of Collinsville died January 16, 2017. She was born on October 17, 1927. She was a homemaker, the world’s best cook, best mother, best mother in law, and best Nana ever. She was involved in the Women of the Church of God, Collinsville Community Club, was voted Woman of the Year - Homemaker’s Club, she volunteered with youth, sang in the choir and also sang in the church quartet. She and Everett enjoyed traveling for many years in their motor home with the Mockingbird Club.

Mrs. Daniels was a member of CrossView Church Collinsville and NorthPark Church.

Survivors include children, Awana Simmons (Jerry), Rolland Daniels (Ellen), Danny Daniels (Jodie); grandchildren, Brandon Simmons (Kirby), Tyler Daniels, Seth Daniels (Catherine), Brianna Daniels, Kristin Sanders (Andrew), and Nathan Daniels (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Ava Daniels, Paxton Simmons, Raelyn Daniels, Everett Sanders; sister in law Pebble Davis (Jim), and sister in law Sarah Linda Daniels. Special friends and caregivers: Ashley, Jaunita, Sharon, and YourLandia.

She was preceded in death by husband Everett and parents, J.W. Luther Sr., and Birdie Luther and all eight siblings.

Pallbearers will be grandsons:  Brandon Simmons, Tyler Daniels, Seth Daniels, Nathan Daniels, and Andrew Sanders.
