Helen M. Johnston Services for Helen M. Johnston will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Johnston, 86, of Meridian died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Poplar Springs Nursing Center. She attended Wesley United Methodist Church and was retired from the Holiday Inn. Survivors include a daughter Fairie Smith of Meridian, two sisters Dorothy Freeman of Russellville, AL and Ruth Riley of Meridian, two grandchildren Justin Smith and wife Kelly of Meridian and Kristen Smith of Meridian, and one great grandson Landon Smith. He was preceded in death by son Tommy Wayne Fleming, three sisters Peggy Aguilar, Bernice Hopkins, and Bobbie Beale, a brother Charles L. Goree, daughter of Gertrude Dorman, Leamon Goree.
