Helen McLelland Newell Services for Helen McLelland Newell will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Newell, 85, of Meridian, died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at her home. She is survived by her sons, David Newell, Jr. and his wife Rita, Robert Newell and his wife Katherine; daughter, Dianne Manning and her husband Ed; grandchildren, Daniel Newell and his wife Amy; Brett Manning and his wife Jamie; Christy Pritchard and her husband Anthony; Corbitt Newell; Blair Miles and her husband Eric; Baker Newell; Barrett Newell; and Blakely Manning; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Libby Newell; Mason Daniels and Maggie Manning; Zane and Wes Pritchard; Ashlin and Emma Newell; Madison Miles, Molly Corbitt Miles, Manning Miles and Maci Manning. She was preceded in death by her husband David C. Newell, Sr.; parents, Earl and Julia McLelland; sisters, Maudie Freeman, Eunice Kitchens, Sallie Catlett; brothers, Thomas and Robert McLelland.
