A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, with Bro. Jeremy Stewart officiating. Burial will be a private service for family and close friends held at Hamrick Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Helen Stewart, age 70 of Meridian passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Stewart was a beloved wife, sister, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful servant and prayer warrior for the Lord. She will be deeply missed, but now is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord forevermore.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joey Stewart; sons, Jeremy Stewart (Joy) and Marcus Stewart (Cynthia); grandchildren, Meagan Snyder (Dustin), Kaylyn Cole (Weston), and Chloe Stewart, Jacob Stewart; great-grandchildren, Madeline Cole and Charlie Jo Cole; siblings, Shirley Swanner (Charlie), Juanita Harper, Jane Moore (David), and Susan Hughes (Robert); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Brannon and Susie Lackey; sister, Betty Mathis.

Pallbearers will be Brian Harper, Andrew Harrell, Shawn Stewart, Robert Hughes, John Perkins, and Lynn Latham.
