Services for Henry C. "Sonny" Palmer will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Pachuta Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Palmer, age 77, of Meridian, died Friday, February 8, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Preston, MS, and worked with Johnson Enterprises for 30 years. He was the owner of Bozmen Hill Landfill and was a member of Preston Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Faye Palmer of Lake Eddins/Pachuta, MS; children, Carla Gayle Strahan of Picayune, MS, Todd Palmer and wife, Kim of Allegany, NY, Jeff Palmer and wife, Karen of Meridian, MS, Mike Rebeles and wife Anita, of Collinsville, MS, Candi Dunlap and husband, Marc of Meridian, MS, and Ronnie Womack of Meridian, MS; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Baker and husband, Dr. Ray Baker of Natchez, MS, and Nan Cascairo of Meridian, MS; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Steadman Morgan, and Henry Curtis Palmer, Sr. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
