Henry C. "Tootie" Dunnam Assistant Fire Chief and Cattle Farmer Services for Henry Clarence "Tootie" Dunnam will be held Thursday, March 31, at 9:30 A.M. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy May, Dr. Kevin Jones and Rev. Randy Scarbrough officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Dunnam, 72, of Daleville, MS, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Golden Meadow Personal Care Home. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Dunnam was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He also served all over the U.S. and abroad in the misson field building churches. He retired from the Meridian Fire Department after 31 years of service. Mr. Dunnam also served for 31 years as president of the Simmons Hunting Club. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Bobbye Lynne Dunnam of Prismatic; children, Angie Carraway and her husband Jonathan of Prismatic, Cindy Shirley and her husband Terry of Whynot; grandchildren, Joshua Carraway, Abigail Carraway, Jewel Lynne Shirley and Dunnam Shirley; special lifetime friends, Lee and Melba Shumate. He was preceded in death by his parents, George H. and Annie M. Dunnam. Pallbearers will be James K. Scarbrough, James C. Smith, Irvin Sharp, Wes Westbrook, Robert Taylor, W.A. McCall, Fred Hataway and Jimmy White. The family requests that memorials be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Calvary Christian School Endowment Fund.
