Herbert Donald "Hub" Herrington Services for Herbert Donald "Hub" Herrington will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Herrington family plot at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in Meridian is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Herrington, passed away, Wednesday, June 8, 2015, at the Coen Greenhouse in Tupelo, MS after an extended illness. He was born June 3, 1928 to the late Miles and Roberta Herrington, Sr. in Collinsville, MS. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church in Collinsville. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corp from 1945-1948. Hub worked for Southern Pipe and Supply Company for 35 years and was the Tupelo Branch manager from 1967-1983. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Peggy Ellis Herrington; his son, Chuck Herrington (Bonnie) of Tupelo; his daughter, Carol Herrington Gourdin (John) of Mount Pleasant, SC; Six grandchildren, Charla Creel (Kori); Bethany Ellis (Matt); Charlie Herrington, Devon Herrington, J.K. Gourdin and Ellis Gourdin; His brother, Miles Herrington, Jr. (Ina) of Meridian, MS and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Ima, Marie, Alice, and Leola; his brother, Oma Herrington. Pallbearers will be Devon Herrington, J.K. Gourdin, Charlie Herrington, David Mosley, Matt Ellis, Kori Creel and Steve Herrington. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
