Herman L. Talbert Services for Herman L. Talbert will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverends Leslie Aucion and David Weir officiating. Burial will be in Stinson Cemetery. Mr. Talbert, 82, of Meridian died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Meridian Community Living Center. He worked as a painter in the Meridian area for many years. Mr. Talbert will be remembered as a man of God. He was rewarded with a loving family and a warm hearted nurse, Stephanie Lewis as his caregivers. Survivors include his daughter, Janice Weir and her husband Roy; grandson, Wayne Robinson and his wife Tori; granddaughter, Heather Daniels and her husband David; great-grandchildren, Nathan Robinson, Zaily Robinson, Jewel Robinson, Harlenna Robinson, and Drew Daniels; several nieces and nephews; step-brother, Danny Talbert and his wife Brenda. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Talbert; son, Tommy Payne; son-in-law, James Robinson; parents, Glinnie Rash and Ellic Talbert; brother, John Talbert; sisters, Ermma Peterson and Lois Dickson. Pallbearers will be Dave Blakley, Roger Scarbrough, Valera Gudouskis, Chris Summer, T.J. Boles and John Milstead. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
