Horace Lamar Roberson

Funeral services for Mr. Horace Roberson will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Water Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bro. Jimmy Culpepper officiating. Interment will be held at Water Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Roberson, age 93, of Meridian passed away Friday, June 29, 2018, at his residence in Whynot, MS.

Mr. Roberson grew up farming. He was a skilled carpenter, and he retired from the State of Mississippi Lauderdale County District Road Division.

Survivors include the love of his life, Ina Roberson; daughter, Gloria Dale Williams; son, Thomas L. Roberson; grandchildren, Regina Williams VanSchaack, Rebecca Brown (Joey), and Tom Roberson; great-grandchildren, Mia Grace Crowson, Johnny VanSchaack, Emily VanSchaack, and Cole Bullocks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Roberson and Leanna Scharbrough Roberson.

Pallbearers will be C.C. Roberson, Jimmy Roberson, Terry Roberson, Tom Roberson, Danny Abston, and Roger Wilkinson. Willie Roberson will be an honorary pallbearer.
