Private graveside services for Mr. Howard Combs, Jr. will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Brother Joshua Drury officiating.  Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Howard Combs, Jr. age 73, of Meridian, Mississippi passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Howard was a veteran of the United States Air National Guard and retired after 20 years of service.  He also retired from Norfolk Southern as a railroad engineer.  He was an avid golfer and had a number of friends he enjoyed playing with regularly.

Mr. Combs is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carolyn Combs; his children, Sandra Rutherford, Candace Upchurch (Larry), Brandie Haguewood (Charles); his siblings, Brenda Pitts (W.L.), Kane Combs (Susan), Joey Combs (Susan), and Butch Flanagan (Cherry); seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Combs was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Rubena Combs, and a sister, Mary Jones.

Pall bearers will be Joey Combs, Kane Combs, Dakota Reinke, William Combs, Chase Haguewood, and Jacob Drury.
