Howard Mack Herrington, Sr. Services for Howard Mack Herrington, Sr. will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Southern Methodist Church with Reverend Joseph Hallman officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Southern Methodist Church Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Herrington, 77, of the Martin Community died Monday, May 21, 2012, at his home. He was a charter member of Antioch Southern Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Frances Skelton Herrington of the Martin Community, children Mack Herrington, Jr. and wife Cindy of Collinsville, Dan Herrington and wife Dottie of Meridian, Anita Kinard of Meridian and Harold Pickens, Tony Herrington and wife Kim of Eugene, Oregon, Jerry Skelton and wife Angie of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Jill Stevison and husband Michael of South Carolina and Jena Ware and husband David of Meridian, fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sisters Brenda McKeithen Crenshaw and husband V.J. of Martin Community and Linda Webb of Martin Community, sister-in-law Eloise Herrington of Martin Community, and the mother of his children Rue Herrington of Collinsville. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Norma Herrington, brothers B.C. Herrington, Bolen Herrington and Lafette Herrington. Pallbearers will be Jake Herrington, Matthew Herrington, Neil McKeithen, Matt Ware, Glen Herrington, Garrett Touchstone. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Smith, Jay Mayatt and Gary Mayatt.
