Howard Lang Graveside services for Howard Lang will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 2:00 at First Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Hal Bates officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Collinsville, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lang, 68, of Collinsville, died, Monday, May 17, 2010 at Rush Hospital. Survivors include his daughter, Julie Shook and her husband Nick of Petal; son, Michael Howard of Collinsville; grandchild, Abby Gail Shook; brother, Clayton Lang and his wife Henrietta of Dekalb; sisters, Helen Bridges of Louisville, Mary Ezell of Bailey, and Betty Rawlings and her husband Lindy of Starkville; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Cunningham Lang; parents, C.T. and Mattie Sue Withers Lang; brother, Johnnie Lang; sisters, Barbara Stephens and Margaret Landstreet. The family request memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Pallbearers will be his nephews, family and friends.
