Memorial services for Howard Edward Reeves will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:30 am at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend James Clark officiating.

Mr. Reeves, age 82, of Meridian, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at his home.

Howard had a strong affinity for his family. He was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his jokes, his story telling, and his lively spirit. He was an avid fisherman and football fan. He graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Business Administration where he played football for his beloved Razorbacks. Howard served as a Captain of the Army Reserve and later became a Senior Account Agent with Allstate Insurance for 33 years. He was loved and returned that love and laughter tenfold.

Howard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary C. Reeves; children, Howard E. (Ed) Reeves, Jr., Bobby Reeves (JoAnna), Ellen Wright (Jeoff), and Todd Reeves; grandchildren, Howard E. (Bubba) Reeves III (Michelle), Amie McDonald (Kerby), Lorrie Clark (J), Rachel Temple (Parker), Parker Reeves, Morgan Reeves, and Taylor Reeves; sister, Bonnie Johnson (Chuck); and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, C. E. Reeves and his mother, Helen Reeves.
