Howell B. (Sonny) Green

Funeral services for Mr. Howell Green will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Green, age 70, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Jackson.

Mr. Green graduated from Meridian High School in 1966. Howell was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the National Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National American Legion. He also was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
Survivors include his special friend, Diane Jones; son, Justin Green; daughter, Suzanne Stewart (Billy); grandchildren, Bethany Neese, Jacob Stephens, Jolene Rose Green; great grandchild, Lillie Katherine Neese; brothers, Harold Green (Nancy); sisters, Betty Miller, and Marilyn Lay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Hazel Green; brother, Tommy D. Green, and Robert E. Green; sisters, Ann Whitlock (Mike), and Carolyn McCary (Gerald).
