A graveside service for Huey D. Brewer will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Donald Gentry officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Brewer, age 81, of Meridian, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church, and worked over thirty years for the City of Meridian. Mr. Brewer loved gardening and loved giving what he raised with others. Survivors include sisters, Evelyn Bridges of Florence, S.C., and Audrey Mae Constantine of Mobile, AL; sister-in-law, Mattie Brewer of Meridian, MS; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall Jackson and Ella Dearman Brewer; brothers, Howard, Lowell, and Newton Brewer; and sisters, Artis Pierce, Pauline Jones, and Judy Lee Roberts. Pallbearers will be Al Brewer, Jeff Collins, Will McQueen, Shawn Partridge, Dakota Fraiser, and Tommy Fraiser. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.robertbarhamffh.com. Visitation will be held Saturday, November, 17, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
