I.D. Gordy Services for I.D. Gordy will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 at 3:00 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Robbins officiating and James Barham presenting the eulogy. Burial will be in Enondale Cemetery. Mr. Gordy, 86, of Enondale Community died Monday, October 10, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center, North. He was a member of Porterville Methodist Church. Mr. Gordy was a farmer, mechanic and machinist. He was also a very active member of his community. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Phyllis Gordy of Enondale Community; children, Karen Gordy Schuck and her husband Kerry of Lewisville, TX, Lynne Gordy Crow and her husband Kent of Berryville, AR, Chris A. Gordy and his wife Ree of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Meredith Tittle and her husband Matt, Mark Schuck, Holt Pittman and his wife Dana, Clinton Pittman, Hayley Pittman and Kimmy Gordy; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nell Hammer, Olive McKelvaine, Amelia Miller and her husband Burr and Mildred Dial and her husband Jake; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, I.D. Gordy, Sr. and Glenn Gordy. Pallbearers will be Holt Pittman, Clinton Pittman, Mark Schuck, Peter Dial, Fred Stokes, Randy Boyd Thompson, David McKelvaine, Steve Moore Matt Tittle.
