Inez Gressett Sims

Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Gressett Sims will begin at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kyle Naylor officiating. Service music will be provided by Clint Walker. Interment will follow graveside rites at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Sims, 94, of Marion, died Saturday, July 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Sims was a cosmetologist for many years; she was devoted to her clients and loved spending time and enjoying conversation with them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Marion where she attended as long as her health permitted.

Mrs. Inez is survived by her daughters, Sandra Kuntz (Mike) and Vickey Schumm (Dave); Grandchildren, Michael Kuntz, Jason Kuntz, Clint Kuntz (Reischa), Whitney Smyly (Matthew), Bobby Gray, Amy McDonough, and Lisa Autry; Several Great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; Siblings, Betty Crane (Tom) and Larry Gressett (Minnie), and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Mrs. Sims is preceded in death by her husband, Brice Sims, Jr.; her son, Clint Sims; her parents, Clint “Paw” and Ludie Mae Daniels Gressett; and her siblings Ruth Walker, Geneva Dorough, Bonnie Simmons, Dennis Gressett, Billy Gressett, Sr., and Vic Gressett; her nephews Bobby Gressett and Jerry Walker, as well as her fiancé, John Satcher.

Pallbearers will be Wiley Walker, Paul Walker, Billy Gressett, Jr, Troy Simmons, Jeff Walker, and Jamie Gressett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Gressett, Justin Gressett, Mike Gressett, Mark Gressett, Ricky Crane, and Mickey Crane.
