Isabel Calderón

A Mass of Christian Burial for Isabel Calderón will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Calderón, 86, of Meridian, passed away September 24, 2024.

Isabel dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her professional career in the medical field and in her personal life as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She had a passion for staying active and lived her life with vitality and energy. Whether through her work, traveling or participating in family gatherings, she cherished each moment with joy and enthusiasm. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her brother, Enrique Flechas and his wife, Judith Flechas; her daughters, Isabelita Calderón Hall and her husband David of Meridian, MS, Patricia Calderón Cater and her husband Robert of Hattiesburg, MS, and Alicia Calderón Skelton of Poplarville, MS; three grandchildren, Brogan Skelton, Matthew Hall, and Christopher Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Calderón, her parents, Jose de Jesus Flechas and Ana Mercedes Flechas, sisters, Marta and Clara Flechas, and brother, Jose Flechas.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials be made as donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church or to the Choctaw Area Council Boy Scouts of America.
