Iva Jenkins

Memorial services for Mrs. Iva Jenkins will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 304 Fort Stephens Road, Bailey, Mississippi 39320 with Rev. Lynne Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Iva Jenkins, age 82, passed away February 16, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Jenkins was born to the late Edwin and Martha Espey on December 25, 1936.  She was the oldest daughter of six siblings.  She was a home maker and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She cherished time she spent with her family, who will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her children, Aletha Jenkins and James Jenkins (Ann); her grandchildren, Lisa Moore, Brandy Ivy (Junior), Andy Jenkins, Matt Jenkins (Shawna), and Samantha Blackwell (Clint); her fourteen great-grandchildren, Dana, Tomas, Josie, Annuzieta, Coby, Jacey Lynn, Keaton, Grayson, Owen, Aly, Chloe, Candace, Alyssa, and Micah; three great-great-grandchildren, Aly, Joshua, and Hank; and her siblings, George Espey (Chris), Sarah Warren (L.D.), Elizabeth Heath (Richard), Charles Espey (Marilyn).

Iva was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jason Moore; a great-grandchild, Joseph; and a brother, H.C. Espey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Bailey, Mississippi.
