Sergeant Jack B. Griffith Graveside services for Sergeant Jack B. Griffith will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10:00 at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery, with Reverend Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Sergeant Griffith, 80 of Meridian, died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at V.A. Nursing Home, Koscisko, MS. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Marines. Sergeant Griffith was involved in The Battle on the 38th Parallel in the Chosen Mountains. Survivors include his son, Jack R. Griffith and his fiancé', Andrea Farrow of Meridian, grandchildren, Aleshia Farrow and J.C. Farrow, sister in law, Amelia Hurst, nephews, Bill Hurst, Mike Hurst, Tony Dean, Mac Dean, Theron Harris, Danny Harris and Dale Harris, Brian Griffith, nieces, Cathy Dean, Susan Hurst, Christy Hurst, Sharon Hurst, Amanda Griffith, several great nieces and nephews.
