Funeral services for Jack Middleton will be held Monday, June 15, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with Father Cosgrove officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. There will be a memorial gathering at Evangel Temple at 1:00pm following the graveside service. Mr. Middleton, 62, of Meridian, passed away June 12 at Anderson Hospital. Jack was a kind, loving, and generous man. He had a strong faith in God and leaned on that faith as he fought his five year battle with cancer. If you couldn't find Jack at his church, you could find him water skiing at Dream Lake, the lake he built for his skiing competitions. He was a champion water skier, having competed in regional and national championships. He was a local real estate appraiser/broker and was owner of Middleton Real Estate and Appraisal. He will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend. Jack is survived by his siblings, Joe (Dorothy) Middleton, Mary Ann Middleton Ashmore, Sara "Cookie" Middleton Duncan; uncle, Johnnie Middleton; step-mother, Jackie Hardy; as well as two nephews and four nieces and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Buford Middleton and his mother, Sara Mitchell. Pallbearers will be Bret Middleton, Chase Middleton, James Ashmore, Dr. Daniel McKeiver, Jay Leach, Thomas Box, Rusty Fraysur, and Joey Hayes. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
