Jack Barrett Rhaly

Funeral services for Mr. Jack Barrett Rhaly will begin at 2:30 PM Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with the Reverends Lane Townsend and Shawn Partridge officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites at Oxford Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Rhaly, 85, of Lauderdale, died Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at his home unexpectedly, doing what he loved, working in his yard.

Jack was an avid outdoorsman; he loved spending time deer and turkey hunting and was especially fond of his friends at Lauderdale Hunting Club. He retired as an electrician with a career spanning over 40 years. He was very involved in the IBEW Retirees where he served as President. He was a dedicated lifelong member of Lauderdale Presbyterian Church, as long as it remained open; He was currently attending Toomsuba Presbyterian Church. He was known for his gift of gab and never met a stranger. In his spare time, Jack loved traveling with his family and friends. Jack also loved watching football, basketball, and NASCAR, where he was always pulling for the underdog. PawPaw Jack was his favorite title and loved spending time with his family.

Jack is survived by his wife, Donna  Allison Rhaly; children, Julie Tabb (Ricky), Barry Rhaly (Lee Ann), Rhonda Fortune, and Apryl Hopkins (Ricky); grandchildren, Ryan Tabb (Kylie), Sarah Tabb, Katie Rhaly, Ashley Dunn (Richard), Andrew Rhaly (Olivia), Jaxon Fortune, and Lynnox Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Parker Tabb, Lenyx Acord, Ryker Tabb, Raylee Dunn, Wyatt Rhaly, and one on the way; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mr. Rhaly is preceded in death by his parents, John and Sarah Rhaly; his aunt, Ida Kate Harry; and his brother, Bryant Rhaly.

The Rhaly Family requests memorials be made as donations to the Oxford Cemetery Fund in lieu of flowers.
