Jack Satcher

Memorial services for Mr. Jack Satcher will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church, with Dr. John Temple officiating.

Mr. Satcher, age 81, of Meridian passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018.

Mr. Satcher served his country in the United State’s Navy. He worked for many years for Norfolk Southern Railroad Company, from which he retired. Mr. Satcher was an active member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. His wife, children, and especially his grandchildren were his world.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Ruby Satcher; children, Hattie Williams (Wiley) and Pattie Clinton (Edward); grandchildren, Wendy, Manda, Danna (Brandon), Ravin, Layla, CJ, Alijah, Amiyah, Courtney, Kyle, Brittnie (John David), Judd (Alana), Alyssa, Kylie Jo, Kaden, Bristol, Abrianna, Lakelynn, Jacksun, Brintlie, John, Kenny, Ashlie (Kevin), Kane, Lexie, London, Taylor (Kandi), Brandon (Hannah), Karlee (Josh), Kaleb, and Paisley; and a very special friend, Penny.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Satcher and one grandchild, Kylan Dawn Carlise.
