Jack W Williams

Graveside services for Mr. Jack W. Williams will begin at 12:30 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Dr. Dan Fulton officiating. Special music will be provided by Chuck and Gina Cotton. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Williams, 93, of Meridian, died Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jack was born in Hickory, Mississippi, the youngest of four children. Having grown up on a farm, it was an easy decision to continue his early adult life by owning and operating his own dairy operation. In 1960, he married the love of his life, June Cotton, and they remained in Hickory until 1974, when he moved to Meridian. He enjoyed working for Production Credit Association until his retirement. He was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit, and witty sense of humor. Jack was a faithful member of Highland Baptist Church where he served as a Merit-Life Deacon. His love for the Lord was evident by the way he lived his life and he will be missed by so many who enjoyed his fellowship. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles.” 2 Corinthians 1: 3.

Mr. Jack is survived by his wife of 64 years, June C. Williams; children, Stan Williams and Julie W. Williams (Brad); grandchildren, Brock Williams (Lauren), and Lindley Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents Pack and Grace Williams; and his siblings, Charles Harold Williams, Margaret McArthur, and Mickey Muller.

The Williams Family suggests memorials be made as donations to Highland Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
