Mrs. Gault, age 75, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Gault was a seamstress by trade most of her life, but she loved making clothes for her grandchildren the most. Her main purpose in life was raising her children. She gave everything she had to making her children’s lives the best she possibly could. She also enjoyed going to church with her church family that meant so much to her. Anytime you came to her house, you would hear her sweet humming of hymns to the Lord. It always made her so happy to sing praises to her Jesus. Now, with her children grown, she wanted to spend every possible moment she could with her grandchildren, four of which she played a huge role in raising and two new ones that were her sweet babies. She just recently became a great-grandmother, which made her heart so happy. She was loved by many and her heart held so much love for others. Her sweet soul and loving spirit are in heaven now, but she is greatly missed here on earth.
She is survived by sons, Larry Gault Jr. (Judy) and Mike Gault (Kristye); daughters, Terri Gault and Janice Haney (Chris); grandchildren, Erin Leggett (Brad), Jason Gault (Haley), Corey Gault, Kirsten Haney, Adalynn Haney, and Crayton Asher Haney; one great-grandchild, Abagail Gault; sisters, Carolyn Ingram (Joe) and Janelle Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gault Sr.; sons, Steven Gault and Ronnie Gault; parents, Stewart and Maggie Hillhouse; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Chris Haney, Jason Gault, Corey Gault, Chris McDonald, Corey Holdiness, and Michael “Bo” Wright.
The family request memorials be made to New Beginnings in Christ Church, 10287 McCraw Road, Meridian, MS 39307.
