Graveside services for James A. (Sonny) Partridge will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with visitation prior from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.

James A. (Sonny) Partridge, age 67, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at Generations of Vernon, Vernon, AL where he had been a resident for the past 7 years and 4 months.  He was a 1966 graduate of Meridian High School, attended Meridian Jr. College and worked at Winn Dixie until an automobile accident in January of 1969 changed his life forever.  Sonny was a much loved son, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Pauline Partridge, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Survivors include his sister, Pat Goodman (Benton); niece Paula Walters (Michael); nephew, Scott Goodman (Lori); great-nephews, Jeff Rudd (Kristen), Chase Goodman, Bryant and Huston Foster and great-great nephew, Elliott Rudd; aunt, Jo Ann Hopper (George) and uncle, Cliff Partridge (Marlyn); as well as several cousins.

Sonny was a member of First Baptist Church, Vernon.  Sonny was well cared for by his family and those at Generations of Vernon, Station 3.
