James A. Alexander Memorial services for James A. Alexander will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 2:00 at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Paul Rhaley officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Alexander, 78, of Meridian, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Ima Jewel Alexander of Meridian; son, Robert J. Alexander and his wife Marianne of Meridian; daughter, Martha K. Shirey of Meridian; grandchildren, Cameron Shirey, Angela Reed, Mandy Rutledge, Chairmaine Cook, Cassidy Alexander Webb, Tiffany Mallory, Rebecca Stokley, Christopher Troxell; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Cochran and her husband Morgan of Meridian, Elise Gray and her husband Jack of Meridian, Dot Irby of Meridian, Betty Jean Bronnenberg of Meridian; brothers, Johnny W. Alexander of Meridian, Bobby L. Alexander and his wife Sharon of Hickory, MS; numerous nieces and nephews.
