James Russell Allen

Mr. James R. "Jim" Allen, 75, of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Allen was born March 11, 1949, in San Diego, California to Leslie and Ruby "Micky" Allen. After serving 20 years as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy, he retired in Whidbey Island, Washington. Following retirement he and his wife Karen moved to Pachuta, Mississippi.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Allen; daughter, Laura Allen; step-daughters, Stephanie Gilchrist and Jessica Henry; three grandchildren, Tyler James Henry; Lillian Henry; and Aria Gilchrist; and brother, John Allen of Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
