James Andrew "Andy" Bohl

Graveside services for Mr. James Andrew "Andy" Bohl will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Andrew's Chapel Memorial Cemetery, near 4354 County Road 630, Quitman, MS 39305. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. James Andrew Bohl, age 46, passed away at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 5, 2025.

James Andrew was born March 20,1979 in Meridian, Mississippi. He attended Clarkdale School in his early years and then moved to Athens, Alabama where he graduated from Athens High School. He went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Auburn University, master's degree from the University of Alabama at Huntsville, and was working on a doctorate from Liberty University.

Andy was a Christian and dearly loved the Lord. He attended Trinity Worship Center in Corpus Christi. Andy was a loving, caring, "give the shirt off his back" type of guy. He loved life and even after 21 years of dialysis he continued to keep a positive outlook on life and never gave up. Andy was an inspiration.

He is survived by his mother; Roberta Jordan Bohl of Athens, Alabama; brother, Jordan Bohl of Corpus Christi, Texas; aunt, Brenda Smith (Steve) of Springville Alabama; uncle, Tommy Bohl (Frances) of Enterprise, Mississippi; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Bohl; maternal grandparents, Robert and Marie Jordan; and paternal grandparents, Karl and Louise Bohl.
