James Wayne Crenshaw

Funeral services for Mr. James Crenshaw will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Bro. Joey Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

James Wayne Crenshaw, age 80, of Toomsuba, MS passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at his home.

James was a graduate of Collinsville High School and then went on to attend Mississippi State University. James retired from Miller Transport as a truck driver. His favorite past times were watching Mississippi State University Bulldog football, watching Westerns and hunting. He and Pat loved dancing at the VFW post 79 with their friends.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Rose Crenshaw, daughter Tammy Lynn Ratcliff (Todd), grandchildren Matthew Crenshaw (Whitney), Morgan Ratcliff Hudson (Stephen), great grandchild Landon Crenshaw, brother Kyron Crenshaw (Brenda), brother-in-law Ronnie Smith, sisters-in-law Linda Crenshaw, Kathy Joyner (Ray), Jan Salkeld, many nieces, nephews and cousins, stepchildren, Tammie Rose Harper (Randy), Randall Rose, step grandchildren Maranda Hardin (Joey) and William Rose.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Lynn Mitchell Crenshaw, son Kerry Wayne Crenshaw, his parents James Bluford Crenshaw and Iva Lee Crenshaw, his grandparents Albert and Ida Crenshaw and Pet and Ollie Freeman, sister Ladonna Crenshaw Smith, and brother Larry Crenshaw.

The family would like to thank Chasity and Kyle with Harper's Hospice and Charrisa and Amber with Home Instead for caring for James.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Bernard, Landon Crenshaw, Brandon Crenshaw, Gary Harper, Randy Harper, Stephen Hudson, and Randall Rose.
