James David Tillman Hamilton, Jr. A Memorial Service for James David Tillman Hamilton, Jr. will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Mr. Hamilton died on Monday, November 5, 2012, in Meridian, Mississippi. He was born to Nancy Laprade Hamilton and James David Tillman Hamilton, Sr. on November 19, 1943 in Durham, North Carolina. He is survived by his mother Nancy Hamilton, sister Susan Hamilton, brothers Tom Hamilton (Lee) and John Hamilton (Beth). He is further survived by niece Elizabeth Hamilton Thomas (Bryn) and nephew Prad Hamilton (Amanda), other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James David Tillman Hamilton, Sr. Jim graduated from Meridian High School and attended the University of Mississippi. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and retired after thirty years from Lockheed. Jim served as an Assistant Scout Master for almost thirty years and was a born story teller and an avid outdoorsman. A man with many hobbies, Jim claimed to have never grown up and loved flintlock muzzle loaders and to participate in primitive rendezvous and historical French and Indian War reenactments. He also enjoyed hunting, canoeing, hiking, flying, sailing, caving, climbing and camping. Jim will be remembered for making the most of life with friends and family.
