James David Tuttle Memorial services for James David Tuttle will be held Friday, at 6p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Earl T. Wheatley, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Houston National Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Tuttle, 63, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Meridian. He was retired from the United States Navy and worked many years at NAS Meridian as a Parachute Rigger. Mr. Tuttle was born July 30, 1946, in Winston Salem, NC to Dausey and Celia Tuttle. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Oriskany CV-34 as a Parachute Rigger. He enjoyed playing beach volleyball, fishing, camping, Nascar, and watching the Auburn Tigers and New Orleans Saints play football. Mr. Tuttle is survived by his daughter, Dawn S. Petrowski and grandaughter, Shelby M. Petrowski; son, David T. Tuttle, and his wife, Melissa, with grandsons, William and Matthew Tuttle, and graddaughter, Tessa Tuttle, son Christopher P. Tuttle, his fiance, Angela Woolard, and unborn granddaughter, Bailey Tuttle; sister-in-law, Betty F. Tuttle; nephew, Donald P. Tuttle Jr., and nieces Tanya James and her husband, Gary, Danielle Fuller, Donna Stroble, Mary Stroble, Terrsi Welch and her husband, Wayne and their daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dausey and Celia Tuttle; brother, Donald P.Tuttle; sister Nell Stroble; and niece, Elizabeth Stroble. Visitation will be held Friday, at 5p.m. at the Funeral Home.
