James Harold Dial Funeral services for James Harold Dial will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Dial, 64, of Meridian, MS, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Anderson Hospital. Mr. Dial was a talented and well known musician who played in many bands around Meridian. He was a skilled auto mechanic and was a jack of all trades. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vicki Dial of Meridian; sons, James Ray " Skeeter" Dial, Christopher Dial and his wife, Brandi, Justin Daniel Dial, and Matthew Levi Dial, all of Meridian; grandchildren Brandon Morgan, Malerie Thornton, Logan Dial, Haylee Dial, Ashley Mitchell, Hayley Madden; sister Delores Spiller and her husband, Joe, of Meridian; niece, Ronda Gunn; nephews, Thomas Spiller, Doug Todd, Joey Spiller, and Jonathan Harper; brother-in-law, Randy Harper and wife, Tammie of Meridian; and special friend Johnny Graham. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Nell Covington McElroy and his father, James Johnson Dial, Jr; mother-in-law Patricia Harper; father-in-law Rex Harper; and niece, Jennifer Harper. The family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Thomas Spiller, Charles Harper, Dale Creel, Gary Harper, Murvis McCollum, and Wayne Booker.
