Graveside services for Mr. James Daniel Evans will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Sageville Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. David Mock officiating. Interment will follow services. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Danny was an avid New Orleans Saints and Ole Miss Rebels fan. He was an animal lover, and his most recent pet was a German Shephard named Trump. Danny was very artistic, creative and entertaining. Danny was currently employed at Modern Flooring where he will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his children, Dylan Evans and Natalie Evans, granddaughter; Violet Rain Gay, his mother, Faye Evans, siblings; Nancy Ellis (Terry); Mary Beth Justus (Dr. Bob); Alan Evans (Pat); Randy Evans (Wendy) nieces and nephews; Jon Jon Ellis; Monte Ellis (Grace); Josh Ellis (Cayla); Dr. Brock Martin (Melissa); Alex Martin (Blakely); Allison Brown (Chris); Audrey Norton (Ray); Stafford Justus (Michelle); Maci Manning; Andrew Evans (Hannah); Kelly Evans; Tyler Evans (Sarah); Dustin Evans (Dallas); great nieces and nephews, Hadley Ellis; Canton Ellis; Iris Ellis; Arthur Ellis; Nola Grace Ellis; Nellie James Ellis; Ferris Martin; Adeline Elizabeth Brown; Amberson Jarrod Brown; Jackson Justus; Shelby Justus; Brooks Norton; Ella Norton; Mallie Kate Evans; Chloe Evans; Easton Evans; Patton Evans.
Preceded in death by his father George "Sonny" Evans Jr., paternal grandparents George Alexander Evans, Sr. and Helen Louise Evans; maternal grandparents John Thomas Barfield and Inez Null Barfield, his godparents James Horace Jeffares (Mildred).
Pallbearers will be his nephews; Honorary Pallbearer will be Brad Parten.
