James Lane French Funeral services for James Lane French will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. French, 87, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, April 14, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. James retired from Western Auto, where he drove a truck for nearly thirty years. After retirement, he worked transporting vehicles for various local dealerships. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary; his daughter, Sheila Stephens and her husband, Todd; grandsons, Jason Catlett and his wife, Tiffany, and their son, Will and Forrest Catlett and his wife, Amanda, and their two daughters Abby and Sydney.
