James "Pete" Harris

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Funeral services for Pete Harris will be held Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Aaron Parker and Bro. Ben Laird officiating, burial will follow at the church cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements. 

Mr. Pete Harris, age 92 of Meehan passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at his home.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Jay and Nancy Risher (Les); grandchildren, Blaine Harris, Kyle Risher, Katie Jay, Jamie Harris Boles (Wes), Travis Risher (Brittany), and Thomas Jay (Kaitlin); great-grandchildren, Jantzen Boles, Eden, Caroline, Josie, and Abel Risher, Burma Rose Jay, and Lilah Williams; numerous extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife, Burma Kate Harris; son, Jimmy Harris; great-grandchild, Jace Harris; brother, Austin "PeeWee" Harris; parents, Otis and Lettleen Harris.

Pallbearers will be Les Risher, Travis Risher, Thomas Jay, Seth Dennis, Chuck Mathis, and Derek Partridge.
