James "Hunter" Garrett

Funeral services for James “Hunter” Garrett will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Bro. Lannis May will be officiating the service. Burial will be held at Andrew’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Hunter Garrett, age 19, of Meridian passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Hunter was an avid sportman; he played both soccer and baseball. He graduated from Northeast High School and was currently enrolled in Meridian Community College. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend.

Survivors include his parents, Scott Garrett (girlfriend Alexa Dobbins Self) and Dana Roberts (husband, Chad); brother, Colby Scott Garrett; paternal grandmother, Betsy Garrett; maternal grandmother, Edith Watson; maternal grandfather, Mike Trawick; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Garrett, Jr. and his maternal grandmother, Ann Trawick.

Pallbearers will be Braxton Lee, Wyatt Ainsworth, Nathan White, Tyler Roberts, Garrett Hollingsworth, Federico Hourdebaigt, Daniel Aaron Wendelken (Chok), and Luke Harper. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Garrett, Jimmy Garrett, Clay Garrett, Ted Hollingsworth, and Phillip Garrett.
