Burton. James E. "Jim" Burton, Sr. Graveside service for James E. "Jim" Burton, Sr., will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Reverend Roy Dabbs and Reverend Paul Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bonita with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Burton, 75, of Meridian died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center North. He was employed with Southern Pipe Supply Company for fifty two years and was retired from Air National Guard. He was also in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Burton served as a minister in several churches in the area and at Deville Manor. He graduated in the fall of 2011 with a Masters in Biblical Studies. Survivors include his wife of fifty two years, Sandra Burton of Meridian; daughter Robin Burton Hull and husband Leslie of Meridian; son James (Butch) Burton, Jr. of Meridian; grandchildren Kara Hull Owen and husband Jonathan of Madison, Kaley Hull of Meridian, Kristen Hull of Meridian and Madi Burton of Meridian; sister Faye McLaughlin and husband Ronnie of Jacksonville, Florida; brother-in-laws Philip Murphy and wife Cathy of Athens, Georgia and Roland Murphy and wife Linda of Meridian. He was preceded in death by his parents Arvil and Polly Burton. Pallbearers will be Leslie Holl, Phillip Murphy, Roland "Chip" Murphy, Jonathan Owen, John Holland, Danny Davis, T.C.
