Jim went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Jim was a quiet, humble, giving man that loved God deeply and was an avid bluegrass and gospel music player. He loved to go with his wife and friends to bluegrass and gospel festivals across the country. One of his many favorite places to go to play music was Mountain View Arkansas, where they would play music on the picking square all day and through the night sometimes till three or four o'clock in the morning. He also loved to go on camping trips with his wife to hunt for trails to go on and waterfalls to see. He also loved to cook and create new recipes to try out. His wife would jokingly say "that's why she married him, because he cooked so good and that I better grab him while I can".

He was also a HAM radio operator too and loved to talk to all his buddies on the radio.

Jim also worked at WTOK TV as a Production Manager and Engineer for almost 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Susan Kathy Williams, sister, Dorothy Dianne Williams Wilson, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Everett Williams, Sr and Helen Zettie Bridges Williams.

Pallbearers will be his nephew Kevin Wilson and members of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Samaritans Purse or Gideons International to continue the mission that we are called to do for God, to help those that are in need and share to his word.
