James "Jimmy" E. Lee

Memorial services for Mr. James “Jimmy” E. Lee will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Antioch Southern Methodist Church in Collinsville, MS with Bro. Damon Williams and Bro. Jack White officiating, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lee, 90, of Collinsville, passed away, Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and outdoors man, who especially loved hunting trips to Colorado. He was a member of Collinsville Bass Club for many years. He was a great bowler who once bowled a 300 and this hobby led him to meeting Mrs. Faye. His favorite title was “Papaw” given by his four grandchildren. He retired after 29 years of service with the NAS Meridian fire department.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 53 years, Faye Lee, daughter, Melanie Lee, and son Michael Lee, and his wife Jennifer. Grandchildren, BreAnna Lee and her fiancé, Colby Shumate, Regan Smith, Peyton Lee,  and Mackenzie Lee. Sister-in-Laws, Sarah Gressett, Sally Lee and Jan Gressett. Nieces, Mary Jones and her husband Rick, and Karen Lee and nephew, Shane Gressett. Great-nephews, Keegan Jones, Will Gressett, and Conner Breazeale.

He is preceded in death by his loving daughter Stacy Michelle Mason, and his parents, Thomas Jackson Lee and Ethel McElroy Lee; brother Arthur Jackson Lee; sister, Mary Virginia Lee, and brother-in-law Wayne Gressett.

The family request that memorials be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers.
