James B. Johnston Services for James B. Johnston will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 at Chunky Baptist Church, with Reverends Wayne Campbell and Matt Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, Newton County, with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Johnston, 92, of Chunky died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Aldersgate Retirement Community. Survivors include his nieces, Ingrid Price (Carroll) of Meridian, Glenda Pruett (Wayne) of Oxford, MS; nephew, Rick Price ( Elise) of Buford, GA; great-nieces and nephews, Shannon Cleveland (Mike) of Birmingham, AL, Christopher Price (Dee Dee) of Islamorada, FL, C.W. Pruett of Houston, TX, Francie Brown (Jeff) of Tupelo, MS, Kaytee Warren (Brandon) of Oxford, Laura Bazemore (Sam) of Atlanta, Sarah Price of Buford, GA; nine great-great nieces and nephews.
