The burial for James "Homer" Jones will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, at Elmwood Chapel Cemetery in Birmingham, AL. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. James Homer Jones, age 87, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Hospital.

Survivors include his son, James "Greg" Jones (Jennifer); daughters, Brenda Elizabeth Lay (Jeff) and Stephanie Ann Jones; grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Jessey Tucker, Kaiden Jones, Jake Lay, Gavin Jones; and great grandchild Evan Jones.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Westbrook Jones; parents, Jesse and Myrtle Jones.
