James Clifford "JC" McAllister A private family grave service for Mr. McAllister Will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, with Dan C. Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. McAllister, 87 years old, of Meridian passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He will be remembered by his love for family and his work ethic. He was founder and owner of Dixie Oil Company. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Annie Louise McAllister, daughter, Phyllis DuBose (Harold), Felicia McLellan (Mitch), grandchildren, Calista Murphy (Corey), Matt McLellan, four great grandchildren, Axel Murphy, Rain Murphy, Willow Murphy, and Ryder Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlander and Lillie Dye McAllister, brothers, W.L. "Red" McAllister, and Wayne McAllister.
