James M. Weathers

Graveside service for James Weathers will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Charlie Laird and Rev. Gilbert Prince officiating, burial to follow. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. James M. Weathers, age 85, of Meridian passed away peacefully at his home on October 11, 2023.

James was retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years and then retired from Bill Ethridge Lincoln/ Mercury dealership after 25 years.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Tressa Currey Weathers; children, Penny Weathers Sewell (Craig) and Van Dale Brooks; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Weathers and Charles Weathers; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Francis Weathers; daughter, Chris Weathers Cumberland; granddaughter, Vanah Brooks; special dog, Buddy Weathers.

The pallbearers will be James “Jamie” Cumberland, Robert Lopez, Kelly Rowse, Kaiden Stubblefield, Raymond Weathers, and Craig Sewell.
