James H. "Jimbo" Wilson Services for James H. "Jimbo" Wilson will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Keller, Reverend Davey Wilkinson and Reverend Phillip Smith officiating. Burial will be Coker's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Wilson, 67, of Meridian died Monday July 25, 2011, at Regency Hospital. He served thirty six years with The 186th Mississippi Air National Guard and retired as a Master Sergeant. He was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church and attended Coker's Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Mary Faye Bateman Wilson of Meridian; a son James Lance Wilson and his wife Beth of Brandon; a granddaughter Shelby Blanton of Brandon; three sisters Mary Robinson of Meridian, Faye Sides and her husband Billy of Meridian, and Shirley Hodge and her husband Don of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James M. and Hortense Harrison Wilson and his in-laws Clay C. and Ila Bateman. The family request memorials be made to Coker's Chapel United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Keith Robinson, Greg Russell, Kevin Sides, Mike Holcomb, Norman Bateman, Dewayne Butler, Johnny Gressett and Craig Bateman.
